It may be a man's world, but Vegas is a woman's City

Is it me or does everyone else want to go running back to Vegas as soon as they arrive back home?? I haven't been to any other city that has treated me as well as Vegas, and it feels damn great to be treated like a V.I.P. (A.K.A. Goddess).

Even though Vegas Barbie and I arrived in Vegas Tuesday night we didn't officially start the trip until Wednesday evening at Todd English's Olives restaurant at the Bellagio. Every dish there is sinfully rich, and a meal should be orderded with great caution. We loved this place so much the last time we visited Vegas that we decided to patronize Olives again. I have a feeling that Olives will forever be the restuarant we start our trip off with as a good-luck meal. Between two girls with hearty appetites, the bread basket and one entree was more than enough for the both of us. ONE ENTREE!

After enjoying the fountain and some tourist activities (A.K.A. walking the strip), we decided to try our luck at Sapphire's. A taxi cab driver told us the previous night that it would be possible to enter Sapphire's without a male escort (which is impossible at Spearmint Rhino), well that information was true to some extent. As soon as we arrived we were interrogated with a series of questions including...is it just you two ladies? Are you meeting someone inside? You like ladies? Are you planning on talking to anyone? They might have as well asked us if we were prostitutes while they were at it. After we passed their test and promised that we wouldn't mingle with anyone in the club to take the attention away from the girls that work there, we were allowed to go in.

In all honestly, Sapphire's is not a club worth going to if you're a straight man, straight woman or lesbian. I've been to the Gold Club in SF and in comparison they were more classy and it didn't give me the feeling that I was in a brothel with the voice of a pimp reprimanding the girls from the loudspeaker at the dj's booth. No matter how difficult it is for you, go to the Rhino!!!!!!!! I'm going to make that my goal next time. Rhino or Bust!

Thursday went by in a flash. We should've gone to the topless pool party at Tao Beach or the one at Wynn, but we had no idea. Next time! I got my nails done at a local nail salon. It was the most painful and sloppy $48 powder/acrylic set I've ever received. I'm going to write a 2-star review for this horrible place.

After getting all done up we actually met up with a friend at a bar to watch the Lakers vs. Celtics game. Lakers won of course, especially since my friend was wearing her Lakers earrings! Afterward we went to that magical night club also known as Tao. After getting in and being seated at a table, I was able to take in all the sights. And from my point of view, all I could see were big, bald security guards. All I'm going to say is that these weren't just your every day security guards. I basically thought I was in heaven. That night they opened up Tao Beach too, so we went upstairs to explore. Tao Beach at night is amazing!! There wasn't too much dancing, but it was a great place to meet people and look at all the YUMMY looking men. For the first time I thought to myself "Too many men, so little time!" and "I want to stay longer!".

The next day we went to Tao Beach and then the rest of the day equally went by in a flash...lunch, Lavo, XS, Haze. I was surprised how well this day went. I can't even put my happiness in words...

Saturday was a little bit more chaotic. We hit up Liquid and Wet Republic. Wet Republic ended up being an awesome pool party/sex orgy. The highlight of this party was watching a girl fall while running. Watching her fall made up for all the other girls who splashed water in my face while running around drunk. That's what you get you fucking idiot. Try to look a little bit more sexy next time.

At the end of the night things started to get unclear as to what would happen next. Our flight the next day departed at 7AM! Despite my exhaustion and complaints about the heat, I'm already thinking about the next time I can go. Vegas is calling me!

Music You Can Dance To

When I was at the Gold Club the other night, Rude Boy came on. Until then I only thought about it as a song to listen to over the radio or to dance to at a club, but why not at the strip club too?! It's actually an awesome song to pole dance to and the video rocks!

My First Strip Club Experience

I think I'm cursed when it comes to the Gold Club. Every single time I attempt to go to this gentleman's club, something unplanned happens and it's called off!I was starting to wonder if I would ever make it! But it finally happened! I finally got to walk through those gold doors this past Saturday night, and now I understand why I was trying so hard.

Gold Club's reputation of being upscale did not let me down. The clientele, layout, music, girls and services was everything I was expecting. As soon as we walked in and paid, someone dressed up in a suit greeted us and led us to a table based on our preferences. We were then attentively served by an attractive waitress and for the rest of night pretty much comfortable to chit chat amongst ourselves without being bothered by the girls who were working the floor. I made sure to get a high table that was directly facing the stage and just right off the main floor so that we didn't have to avoid eye contact with the girls that worked there all night. I definitely came to Gold Club Saturday night with the intention of staying clear of the stage... I wanted to concentrate on the girls on stage so I could get a better idea of what type of moves to use for my performance.

View of stage from the main floor...

View from the VIP section upstairs...

Since this was my first strip club experience, I don't really have anything to base my opinions on other than what I've been told about other strip clubs. But I was extremely happy, pumped up and lively after we left when they kicked us out...seriously I could've stayed there past 2AM just watching the girls work the stage.

In general, all the girls' performances included a lot of sensual dance and floor work...but I wouldn't blame them from avoiding the pole. I could see the lotions and fingerprints all over the pole from more than half way across the room! The girls who did try to climb the pole (only one in the entire club!!!!) definitely had a difficult time (especially since some performed in stockings). So kudos to them! If I were them I would be cautious about using the pole. I already have enough trouble with my sweaty palms.

I loved all the little lingerie costumes they wore, especially this neon orange set that glowed under UV light!!! The more I think about it, the more appealing it sounds to work at a place like the Gold Club. Here are my reasons why...(1) I have a wealth of lingerie sets that I DON'T ever get to use (2) I LOVE lingerie sets and am hopelessly addicted to them even if I don't have a boyfriend/boy toy...so having a legit excuse to buy more is a plus (3) I want to perform.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of cons...like (1) where the hell am I going to go after getting off work (2) that gross, balding, fat dude in the sweat suit keeps pointing at girls and getting lap dances...(3) I have to take off my bra! to show off what? Good luck finding these babies under the dim lighting...(4) people will call me a stripper (haha, because technically I would be one!)...(5)If my parents or family ever found out I would be disowned. Haha! Hmmm....decisions, decisions.

Who's down to go strip clubbing Wednesday, March 17th?????

Third Time's a Charm: The Gold Club

I know that I'm probably a little bit late in the game, but I have to admit that I've never been to a gentlemen's club or strip club before. I know, it's shocking right? Well my excuse is that being with a guy makes me completely insecure about myself and totally puts me off to the idea of hot, full-bodied, and confident women stripping in front of me or anyone in general. I realize now that I'm just being a hater. Now that I have an intro to pole-dancing class under my belt I've been dying to go see moves on the stage. I keep thinking to myself, that could be me on the stage. I know my other friend thinks the same too.

One of these days when my friend and I get our acts together, we will make that trip to the Gold Club in San Francisco. I Yelp just about everything and the Gold Club was the classiest venue I found. Not to be mean, but we don't want cheap tricks and old farts. I've already made two attempts to go to this place. When I finally go, you'll definitely find a review here.
