(1) Military Boots

Although I love my heeled boots (they're perfect for three out of four seasons in the year!), I have started to find myself wanting a pair of regular military boots. What's great about the military boot trend is that it is is unisex. It's trendy for both men and women to wear them now. I first saw a pair advertised in GQ from an army surplus store, but then started noticing them on the runway.

Balmain pour homme. Rangers Noir

All Saints Damisi Boots (175 Euro)

All Saints Military Boot (165 Euro)

All Saints Tread boot (160 Euro)

A perfect pair of military boots would be a combination lace-up and zip-up boot that I could pair with skinny jeans or leggings. They would be perfect for school. I could look great and be comfortable at the same time!

(2)Sneakers & Flats

I was walking down Hayes in San Francisco after lunch one day and I spied some Vans shoes through the window of a boutique that looked perfect for summer, but most importantly, perfect for me. When it comes to sneakers, they need to look dainty for me to wear them. Although the slip on plimsolls are a classic (and great for the beach!), I love the retro saddle-shoe inspired silhouette look of the Sophie shoe. They're not on the Vans website anymore because I assume they sold out, so if you see them elsewhere you should grab them! I have a feeling they won't be replicating this style next season!

Vans Shoes Sophie W/B Shoe ($54)

These shoes would look great paired with sheer black hosiery and a skirt for a more serious attire or like the Vans model with a summery dress or shorts for if you want a more playful mood.

Taking a cue from Target, Payless is now collaborating with up and coming designers like Alice + Olivia and Christian Siriano.

Alice + Olivia for Payless Jazz Oxford $29.99

I found really similar shoes on Nordstrom's website. I can't wait until the Semi-annual sale next week!

REPORT Tawnie Flat $69.95

This Burberry flat is perfect. It's inconspicuous. It's neutral. It has the right amount of accented hardware.

Burberry Logo Ornament Flat $295

Lately I've been getting into bejeweled flats ever since I laid my eyes on MIU MIU flats that are way out of my price range that will last me 2 years at most. These Vera Wang flats are slightly more affordable and still have the metallic look I'm looking for.

Vera Wang Lavender Label Luna Flat $275

(3) Aviators

Ever since I've tried on these Ralph aviators at my optometrist's office, I've been hooked not only to aviators but to these exact pair. They're the perfect size and shape for my face and come in exactly the color I love, tortoiseshell. Even though I don't consider them designer, I think that they would be perfect to pair with my bikinis while I'm in Vegas!!!!

(4) Utility Jacket accessorized w/ a Beanie

I can't seem to stay focused on spring/summer trends because I'm already looking forward to fall/winter trends. Unfortunately, you won't find any retail stores carrying linen or cargo utility jackets and beanies year round.
